About

Hi, I'm Leah!
Glad you're here and joining this journey with us as we call
dirt roads, the scorching heat, and the Madzanji village our home.

In college, Tyler and I felt The Lord was calling us to serve in Africa
& fight for justice in places of extreme poverty.
Now after 5 years of praying and wrestling, we are doing just that!
We are constantly blown away by how a simple "yes" changed our lives.

We are missionaries for Pure Mission, and live at Esther's House (a community center/orphange) in a beautiful village in Malawi, Africa.

We believe it is our responsibility as followers of Jesus to care for those who cannot care for themselves.  Our mission is simple: to provide and care for the widows and orphans in the Madzanji region of Malawi.

At Esther's House, we care for over eighty orphans in the village, with nine living on campus.
The other 70+ live with extended families in nearby villages, and we are able to serve these children by coming alongside families to empower and ensure they are taken care of.

Esther's House provides daily meals, tutoring, medical care, school fees, supplies, and spiritual discipleship.  We want Jesus to be at the heart of everything we do.

We also care for 75 aging widows by providing fertilizer, medical care, and spiritual development.
They join us at Esther's House every Saturday for "widow/kiddo" day and receive lunch and time for worship with our pastor on campus.

Above all, our campus is a safe place for children and adults in need to come and find care, food and the love of Jesus.

Pure Mission also assists in church plants, pastoral trainings, evangelism,  agriculture projects, post-secondary programs, and hosts short-team mission trips!
We are blessed to serve with this ministry, & to call this village our home.

God is on the move, and we believe the best is yet to come!
